Alexis Zellars
Founder and Lead Educator
Alexis Zellars is the heart and visionary behind West Ivy Prep Academy. With over 15 years of experience in early childhood education, she brings passion, purpose, and excellence into every aspect of the learning environment. As both an educator and a mother, Alexis understands the importance of providing children with a safe, nurturing, and high-quality foundation during their most important developmental years.
Alexis holds her Technical Certificate of Credit in Early Childhood Education Program Administration and is currently pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education. She founded West Ivy Prep Academy with a clear mission to cultivate confident early leaders through meaningful play, intentional instruction, and strong relationships.
Her approach to teaching is rooted in whole-child development, high expectations, consistency, and love. Families value her hands-on leadership, her commitment to each child’s individual growth, and the close-knit community she has created at West Ivy Prep. To Alexis, early education is more than a profession. It is a calling, a purpose, and a lifelong commitment to helping children thrive.
